i recently updated to the 8120, the phone is great 'n all but i cant seem to reach certain contacts w/ the new phone, says check the number for improper dialing and try again, but w/ my 8100 pearl i never had that prob., tried everything i know but no joy.. any ideas?
Could be an issue with how you have those contact's numbers programmed and how you have Smart Dialing set up. If you press the call button, then press menu > options > Smart Dialing, you can check that you have your area code and country code set properly.
Smart Dialing should have +1 for the country code, and you area code. The only other thing I can think of is that you are inputing the numbers in an fashion that conflicts with smart dialing.
