The trackball in my wife's 8130 is having issues. It only works sporadically. It's like it isn't picking up the rolling of the ball. Clicking with it works fine.
Can this generally be fixed by cleaning or replacing the trackball or is it a bigger issue?
Take an alcohol pad and press down on your trackball and roll it around for about 10 - 15 seconds. Sometimes it takes a few tries but this is a failsafe method for making your trackball work.
Don't do the alcohol pad .. Push down on trackball and roll it left right up and down all ways for 15 seconds each while pushing should fix it if not under how to there is a section on how to clean trackball
