How do I get the track ball on Pearl 8100 to cycle through colours when in standby?

Download ColorPearl. I think there is a free alternative but it may not do what you want. Somebody will post it here. I think ColorPearl has a free trial though.

Pimp my pearl will cycle through colors until your device's screen times out or whatever, you can get it here:

I never could get the free trial to work on my bb so I just bought it and it works great, I love the disco option, I think it had more options for your trackball than colorpearl but you may want to take a look at both of them before deciding.
