Its seamless and uncomplicated. It's just installing difference software versions, not actually changing your settings. If anything you lose the Verizon theme, which in my opinion is one of the better ones.

Hey Corn1010,
I created a folder on my BB desktop and moved an email icon into it (as you described). How doI return the email icon to my desktop if I want to put it back?
...............I got it! Just had to play with it until I discovered the "move up" folder located inside the new folder I had created.
I 'moved' the icon to the 'move up' folder and it returned it to the homescreen.

Wonderful list daddybear. On the 8130, 5 does not seem to change to the original zoom of the picture. 1 goes back to the original view (zoomed out to fill the screen) and 7 goes to maximum zoomed in. 2,4,6,8 pan around a zoomed image in the directions you'd expect.

Great thread!
I'm in desperation here: Does anyone know how to make the screen turn on when a new message (sms, email, phone call, or otherwise) arrives??? Although I can identify what message came in by the ring, it would be great to view the screen without having to click anything. I've searched so many blackberry tips its nauseating, Im guessing its not possible. Software?

BlackBerry's are not designed to do this. They only will wake up with hitting a button or taking it out of sleep mode in the holster.... Sorry, I don't think they will ever incorporate this, to me I don't mind..... Also this has been discussed multiple times, please search first then ask Quote:

yeah but when you go into the drop down menu after choosing alltel the 8130 is not a choice among the other supported devices. unless its bundled with the 4.3 desktop manager software for some reason? poked around on howard forums and people are saying its out but not yet available for download from blackberry's site

Hasn't done it since.

On the home screen go to manage connections. You can turn the radio and Bluetooth on and off.
