I noticed that none of the buttons on the keypad allow for moving to the next or previous picture when viewing a particular picture. In order to see the next picture, it seems the only way is to return to the picture list and using the trackball to select the next picture and opening it. Is there really no other way?
Been wondering this for a long time as well. Seems crazy to not have a shortcut for it. Granted its not a QWERTY keypad but 4&6 makes sense to me. I did try 3 and thats definitely zoom. Once zoomed 4&6 scroll around the zoomed image. Apparently l(,) is rotate. Thats neat. Whats "next"?!! Jeez. I can't remember what they are in text inbox either but when I played around and figured it out I thought the buttons that worked felt kind of random....Not as easy as N for Next and such.Grrr
Thanks to all for the advice and the warm welcome. Just like mindlessness stated "Grrr" that's exactly my sentiment. Maybe RIM will come out with a software upgrade for this, maybe not... Oh well. I like most everything else on the Pearl, especially the small size and the media functionality.
I tried every button on mine and only found four shortcuts. As mentioned above, "3" gives an incremental zoom, "7" gives full zoom. "1" is fit picture to screen, and "L" is rotate clockwise (Landscape?).
