I got my first BB today and it is currently running v4.3.0.93. Do I need to upgrade to v4.5.x.x?

There is no actual need to upgrade - the official software works fine. There are, however, perks to the 4.5 OS.

Thanks! I upgraded last night flawlessly. Because I don't have much on my BB yet, it only took the better half of 30mins. Downloading the .exes took longer!
