Default synchronizing with BES and Desktop Manager

I have a BB operating through BES. I want to hard wire synchronize to my home computer calendar, etc. The Desktop Manager tells me that I need to disable wireless synch on the BB to do this.

Is there a simple short cut for this action, or can I somehow update my home outlook calendar wirelessly too?

Any help would be appreciated.

Open Calender and hit the menu button and select options. In the Calendars section, highlight the BES Calendar and press the trackball. In the Wireless Synchronization select No.

Once this is done then your calendar items will only be synchronized from Outlook rather than over the air from the Exchange Server.

Thanks,
Is this something I can switch back and forth with no BES issues? I don't want to **** off our IT guy.

My guess is that everytime you enable wireless synchronization, it's going to update your device with whatever is on the Exchange Server so you may lose some items that are just on the device.
