I changed nothing, I need to make that clear, 2 hours ago everything was normal and now my message screen only displays emails. I can go to sms by selecting it in options, but it only shows the last sms I sent as opposed to 2 hours ago when it showed sms back to the beginning of the month.

I've since tried to change every option I can and nothing changes it. I don't think my stuff's been deleted, and I have enough memory space.

Seriously, nothing was changed by me, and this just happened. How do I fox it?

What is your free file memory?

4164031 Bytes, but even it it was a memory issue which I don;t think, but could be wrong, would it happen so fast? One second everything is normal and then nothing changes and everything is different?

You have failed to manage the memory on your device correctly. So now your device is deleting any information that isn't nailed down such as email and sms. 4164031 Bytes is less than 5mb. You need at least 10-12mb free at all times. Get a media card. Move your media to the media card. And follow the guide below to free up more.

ok, I'm out of memory and everything is deleted. No biggie, but why is it still displaying old email? shouldn't that be gone too? also, and my original question, why won't my emails and sms display on the same screen anymore? I'll fixx the memory thing, but the display problem is really bothering me

file free is now 9760511 (anyway to make it display in MB as opposed to bytes?)

Have you tried pulling the battery with the device on and replacing it after 30 seconds?

If not, do that and see if it comes around.

    No, only bytes.

i have been having the exact same problem, but it has been deleting my call log and BB conversations, too. And it seems to happen only when I'm unable to get service or plug my phone in to charge. And oftentimes, there will be days worth of calls in my log,

I hope you don't plan on leaving it at that. You still need to free up additional space. I recommend that you have at least 12000000 bytes free.

U don't believe it's a memory problem, because sometimes it'll go several days and store my call logs, SMS messages, and BB messages just fine,

And then other times it continues to delete my messages all day. Oh and aside from 2 pictures, I have no media stored on my phone!

Dude absolutely a memory problem without a shadow of a doubt. Follow the advice like I said... Also like I said, you need to have at least 12000000 bytes free.
