i just got my phone the other day and i have a few questions..
i have the student 50 plan with telus.
and i was just wondering if i can go on windows live messenger facebook google xanga and stuff like that?
i know i can but is it going to charge me?
and what the heck is Tethering.
i put songs that i downloaded from limewire onto my phone is that bad?

You can go all those sites, the charges depend on what data plan you have with Telus. I have Sprint so I have no clue what service Telus offers.
Tethering is when you use your phone as a modem.
Make sure you get a media card if you want music on your pearl

The student 50 plan does come with unlimited data so you can use any program on the phone.just don't tether.
