Is it really necessary to remove the trackball everytime it gets sticky? Are there any tips on cleaning without removal??

I used to use the 8120 and became very adept at popping it out and cleaning it with alcohol. I've never changed the trackball in the year I used it.

Take a wipe and clean around trackball look at ball as a clock 12 3 6 9 and roll Ball to 12 phone should be upside down. Roll ball 30xs then roll at 3 and so on till back at 12 note take out battery before you start when finished rolling ball put battery back in wait til powered up and try do this each time its stuckor dragging hope it helps

i dont know how you guy mess up you trackballs soo much, its a good thing the trackpad is coming out on the new models.
