    The alarm will come on when in standby regardless of the Profile you have set - even when the phone is off.

    Yea alarm works in standby and can't you set it up to only receive calls from certain people in standby. What happens to email in standby, if it doesn't accept will it just push later when the phone is not in standby?

    The alarm will work no matter what. Well, unless you take the battery out of course.
