So I'm a pretty experienced storm user. I tried tackling my wifes pearl and its all screwed up. I can't get DM to recongize any OS software, even after a wipe. Any help/ideas? I deleted vendor and all the normal stuff. Any help would rock, thanks.

Alright, it continues. So I wiped the phone, finally got 77 to load. Except barely any of the apps loaded. The whole reason I'm doing this is because I installed bbm 5.0 on her pearl and no dice. Now i can't get her bbm back. Bump. anyone?

Best way for OS loading IMHO is too go directly to the loader.exe. Open windows explorer and goto C:/program files/common files/research in motion/apploader. let me know when you're there.

I've done that. deleted vendor file and all that. I've loaded about every leak for the storm and hybrids so i'm used to using loader.

Cool, that makes this easier...and harder. I would assume that means you went down the check list and made sure bbm was checked for install, right?

So I got everything working back on 77. Anyone have any clue why 138 or 131 won't show up in the loader?

I had the same issue when i was trying to install 138. It just didn't show up. I uninstalled / reinstalled so many times. But no dice, sorry but not sure how to fix that. I was on vista BTW
