Send ringtones to phone

i email it but it doesn't show up on my phone... why is that does anyone know?

Sure you attached the file when you send it? If so, can you see that attached file when you open that email?

One possibility is that it is not a supported file format.

see thats the thing... i click on the button to email ringtone. Type my blackberry email in it. and it says email was sent to ... but my phone doesn't show an email...

okay, let me get this straight. Where did you get the ringtones? From your BlackBerry?

Ohhh, okay. Well, open that email and check for link. This link will then open your BlackBerry Media player and play the ringtone you selected. Click on the Menu button and save.

I tried sending it to my e-mail and I get the link but the link is not "clickable" what am I doing wrong?

I'm having the same problem as Jonchos. I was able to get some ringtones yesterday, but today the link won't automatically highlight. What's the deal?

When you send the email from this site, make sure the save as device box is highlighted. The link should then be clickable.

Hi there, Im having the same problem with the non clickable link....
I clicked the 'save as device' box and everything....I sent it to my husbands Treo and he got the clickable link. Stupid treo

i was having the same problem but what i ended up doing is opening the email on my computer and saving it to my computer then transfer using the media manager...works fine

I recently got a BB 8130. The problem with it is that I can't send any ringtones to it. I paired it up with my mac and it won't receive the files that are sent to it. Shortly After, I sent the ringtones to another phone to try to bluetooth them to my phone and that failed also. After that I tried to open it up in an email. I can't sign into it because someone else is signed on to it on my phone. I can't log them out and log myself in. They even changed their password and still the phone only receives their messages. (Yahoo Messages)
