Anyone have this problem? I downloaded a bunch of ring tones from this website and when they ring on my phone, they end gets cut out. Why is that? they play fine online before I send them to my phone.

If the ring tone is 30 seconds long, and your phone goes to voice mail at 25 then it will clip the song. You can call Verizon and ask them to increase the time before vm kicks in.

Could be what your profile is set to. Try setting one of your profiles to just "ring" no vibrate.

If ringtones are only 3 secs long, then how are they "cutting out?" What are they doing? Are you saying they're 3 secs long and then they don't repeat? There's not a looping feature, so you'd need to edit the tone to complete the full 30 secs.

Audacity is a great program for this.

Yeah, ringtones that are only 3 seconds long are meant to be used for notifications like email, sms, or pin messages received.

Putting them in as your phone ringer won't be much fun!

But, you can edit a 3 secs ringtone to be 30 secs by looping it. I downloaded the T-Mo t-jingle all of 2 secs of it. I looped it and it is now a 25 sec ringtone!

I think I understand what the OP means. I've downloaded ringtones from crackberry, some only a few seconds and some up to 30 seconds, and frequently the end IS cut off. For example, I think it was Buckcherry's I'm Sorry, its the chorus of the song, and the last few words are cut off. It plays the whole thing on the computer, just not on the phone. Changing the profile has no effect on it. I did find that deleting it from the Berry and reloading it put the end back on, but that doesn't work for all of them. Any other suggestions?

Has anyone else experienced this? Maybe we're just special, Stasser! FWIW, a battery pull also does not help.
