Rename Songs in Media?

Is it possible to rename songs once they are in Media?

I tried renaming them on the Media Card via my computer but that's not working?

What am I missing?

What do you use to listen to your music on the computer iTunes? If so I don't know what to tell you buy if you upload the songs one by one you are given an option of naming the songs

When you're in the media center on your blackberry, hit menu then go to explore. Follow thru all the folders to find where you music is. Find the song you wanna rename then click menu>rename.
Viola. You can now rename the track

Just drag and drop from folder view via USB. Once off your card and on desktop (or where ever) make you changes, drop back on card via USB then delete old version off your BB.

...its easier done than said. Roxio is too much of a hassle!

Yes, you can change the name:

Media, menu button, explore, device memory/media card (where ever your ringtones are stored), find then highlight the song, menu button, rename.

Thanks everyone! I'm still getting used to the board....wasn't sure I posted....I couldn't find it after. I am just ripping my songs off my favorite cd's......then dragging and dropping into the media card folder under music on my computer. It is really easy and great! I changed the name of the songs on the Blackberry/Music folder.....but they are not showing up on my ALL SONGS list.....on the BB.

Be sure to save them to the memory card. Too many things on device memory isn't good.

I have tried to rename my songs in my phone when i open in files they are all gud but in media player its not the same how can i fix this. iam using a blackberyy 8520 curve

hello i would like to know how to get my music back
i renamed my music by going to explore etc but then when i went to my media folder all the songs i edited are not there but they're in my media card the way i changed it i cant hear them or anything
i would like to know how to get all my songs back
