Default Reconciling e-mails

I have a Pearl 8110 through work but the problem below has got our IT guys stumped! We run Outlook on Windows XP Professional. My apologies if this has been answered elsewhere on the site but:

If I delete an email on my BB it deletes on my Desktop within seconds. Good.

If I delete on my Desktop, it occasionally deletes on my BB but not often. Bad.

If I move an email from my Desktop Inbox to a subfolder (PST) it still appears on my BB. Also bad. I do have Hide Filed Messages active.

'Reconcile Now' seems to do nothing so in both the latter cases I have to scroll through on my BB and delete everything for a second time.

This is a pain. Can anyone suggest a solution, please? Thanks,

Sounds like you have it set up for BB to take precedence or win.

Sorry, I meant to put in that I do also have it set as 'Mailbox and Handheld' for Delete On:, and 'Mailbox Wins' on conflicts.
Many thanks
