A recent update was made for one of the applications I bought for my phone. My question is, do I just install the new updated application and it will replace my old one or should I uninstall the old one and install the new one? I am wondering what I should do because of application permissions and stuff like that.

Depending on the ap, sometimes you can DL the new version and it will ask if you want it overwrite the older version.

But other times you'll need manually remove & replace. I'd try overwriting it first.
