question about the today screen
Is there a way to change the options on what is displayed for the today view?
For example, default is messages, calendar, call log and then applications.
I would like to take out call log and put in address book.
Verizon pearl if that matters...
Thanks

You mean the icons? Just move them around I think the first row you have when all icons are show are the icons that will be displayed.

I appreciate the quick reply
but unlike the zen or L, on the today screen I can't figure out if I can move the "messages, calendar, call log"
in other words I can't click on them and slect move... - 04-03-2008, 01:28 PM #4
I've tried other today themes that have different apps on the home screen but never found a way to change them myself. If there is a way, I'd love to know!

I don't think it is possible
however, I did email the guy who did the iblocks (i phone look alike) theme and he said he would do a custom today screne for me, so I can pick what apps I want for just $5. I will probably go that route.
For me, I want the messages, calendar and then would like the option for tasks or phone book. Of course, I know I have the two buttons on the side, but I like those for browser and phone... okay sorry for rambling...
If anybody hears about being able to switch the today screen though, I would love to hear about it.
Thanks

thanks...
I went ahead with the iberry block's today screne which does include the camera, and then I reassigned the camera button on the side of the phone to bring up phone book...
It works for now...
Thanks again for the replies!
