A colleague of mine has the Pearl, when trying to add an e-mail account through the setup wizard it asks for the BES username and password. This phone won't be on an Enterprise Server but it won't give me any other options to setup another type of e-mail account (need it to be an IMAP account). I've scoured the manual and also searched here but can't find anything of any use. It's on Orange UK, anyone have any ideas?
Has your friends Blackberry Internet Service data plan with Orange been activated yet? If not then the option for personal email won't appear until this is done.
Is it a new or used device?

Thanks for the reply, we had 7 new BB's in at work (only had the 2 pearls) turns out they wasn't registered with Orange as you said. I got them sorted yesterday any ways. The Curve's were much easier to do so no idea why these we're such a pain in the rear end!
