i am looking to buy my other half a blackberry pearl but i dont know witch one to buy . i see that there is 3 different models of the pearl witch 1 is the best and are they very different from each other ? any help in choosing her a phone would be very helpful

There all the same 8100 is the first version pearl not offered anymore ... 8110 8120 is for gsm network and 8130 for cdma depends on what provider you go with ... Only other difference could be operating software but there usually pretty comparable

O2 is a UK based GSM carrier, so your choices will be the 8100, 8110 or 8120. The are no UK CDMA carriers, you can rule out the 8130.

O2 does support UMA over Wifi, the 8120 will give her the best performance.

Sorry didn't realize UK on wap.. And yes forgot about that wifi would be available for 8120 thanks reed
