pictures went *poof*!

So this morning I was going thru my pictures that I took last nite, I had it hooked up to the pc. Everytime the cord would get bumped it would basically disconnect then reconnect (very annoying) anyway, I got a message during all of this that said something about my media card having errors or something. So I ran a repair and now over half my pictures aren't there! I've done a battery pull, twice. I'm out of ideas on where they could have gone and how to get them back. HEELLLP!!

Sadly, they are gone.

If it did a media card repair it erased them in the process.

Yeah, don't use the repair. The first time my Tour did that, I tried what it suggested and it renamed every file to some random name. the files still existed but since there was no difference except size of the files, i guess which ones to rename to .jpg.

It did the same thing last night, but before letting it destroy, I plugged it into my computer, it read the card fine, then i copied off all the data, formatted the card and put everything back on.
