This really bothers me and I don't know if there is anyway to change it. Phone numbers show up like this "1234567890" on my caller id, when I would like for them to show up like (123) 456-7890 or 123-456-7890. Any ideas would be appreciated.

don't think its possible...i have yet to find a way, after having 2 BBs, on multiple OS's for over a year now.

Are they from your contacts? If so could it be the way you have them entered? Example Joe 8005551212 vs Joe 800-555-1212. Just a thought.

This is my first bb, but i can't believe others haven't complained about this in the past. Seems like it would be easy for them to fix.

No I don't have any contacts entered b/c alltel doesn't have the update yet for the 8130 to xfer contacts.
