Default Pearl: Sprint v. T-Mobile

I know that they both have a 2.0 mega pixel camera. They both are similar.

Some differences are that the T-Mobile one has WiFi but not GPS and vice versa for the sprint one. I know that the Sprint one comes in Amethyst colour.

-I was wondering what other differences are there? and does the sprint phone not have the usual IM apps like AIM and MSN and Yahoo? or can you add them via 3rd party connections?

-Does blackberry have good 3rd party apps like Firefox does?

-What other differences are there between the two?

Thanks

I don't know about the T-mobile pearl but the Sprint pearl does not come with an IM apps other than BB messenger. You can add a 3rd party app to do IMs very easily.

Blackberry has a lot of good 3rd party apps. I'm not sure what you mean about Firefox - I don't think you can really compare a browser to a phone...

well, I just got the 8120 from T-Mobile and it rocks!! It does come with yahoo, aim, windows live, google, and BB messenger.

not so many third party apps yet and are expensive($10 and up)

UMA is good only if you live in New York since they are alreay 3G with T-mobile; but my broadband connection is good to use wi-fi calling and have unlimited calls =D

Big difference is Sprint is CDMA and T-Mobile is GSM...

I had the 8130 from Bell, and I think the 8130 has a newer OS than the others. I can't be sure, but I know I had some options that other users didn't seem to have (like video capture...and more memory).

Same thing with the Curves, I have 96Mb on my Curve, but I guess some other models only have 64?
