Pearl 8130 won't turn on! OH NO!!

My phone wont turn on! I have a BB Pearl 8130 with CellSouth that is almost two years old but I'm trying to hold out till I can upgrade next month. I've been charging it by plugging it up to my computer because for some reason I think my wall charger has shorted out. I had it plugged up all night but when I got up this morning it was totally dead. No flashing lights (red or green), no low battery screen, nothing.I tried removing the battery. I tried restarting my computer & plugging it back in but it won't even recognize the USB. I tried using a USB converter to a wall outlet but there was no response. I've tried multiple USB cords to make sure it wasn't just a short. Recently making calls on my phone will kill my battery in a matter of minutes so I'm wondering if I just need a new battery. Please, any advice will be greatly appreciated because I'm lost at this point!

I would first try putting it on a normal AC charger for at least 15 minutes to see if anything happens. If not I would try replacing the battery next.

I vote for a new battery. Sounds like that one has had it.
