Hi all:

New to the forum and the Blackberry here. I find this device both amusing and addictive. I was trying to figure out how to add my own custom folder icons to the Pearl 8130 Device memory/samples/folder icons directory. When trying to copy from the memory card to this folder it says it is read only and I cannot see the directory through the media manager or app loader. Anyone know how to accomplish this?

Anybody ever try to add, delete or move from the samples directory on the device?

I couldn't do it. To remove those, I removed the corresponding .cod file using javaloader. But I could never copy or move.

I like the idea that you can add folders and move applications/icons into the folders but I would like to add my own folder icons. They don't have enough styles to choose from.

I wanted to know, how I could delete these cartoon-like pictures and geeky audio.

They are addressed as follows:
Device Memory/Samples/MMS/Pictures
Device Memory/Samples/MMS/Tunes

Help?

Funny that all the MMS stuff is on my BB taking up space and Telus does not even support MMS.
