Help!!!!
After I tried to update my BB 8120, from v.4.3.0.91 ( Platform 2.6.0.52) to a v.4.5.0182.Plat, that was offered by the Blackberry Desktop software V.7.1.0.41.
I am receiving a " Input System error. The system is being restarted" message for hours and nothing happens.

Now, I can't use my cell. If someone out there could help, I would be very happy and thankful.

You'd be better off following this, rather than having desktop manager download and install your OS.

Hi, Thanks, but it didn't work for me.
After download the OS, I received a message, saying that the " version is not compatible with the version of windows I am running". I have windows 7 - 64bit.

Right click and try compatibility mode.

Thanks for your attention, but I think that after the failed update, my BB is gone.
It doesn't turn off and it shows at the screen "BlackBerry Platform 2.7.0.106 and below that the menu.
When I clicked on AddressBook it gave a error message ""Error starting net_rim_bb_addressbook_app: Module 'net_rim_xml_org' not found. --> ok.
The error message shows for every item on the menu.

Maybe i can help you, one day i nuked my 9360 trying to update its software, what i did was downloading bbsak, then i wiped my 9360 and try reloading the os and it worked!

Yeah, I'd suggest wiping and starting over. Don't need bbsak for that though. Just take the battery out of your Pearl, connect it to the PC and run loader.exe.
