This is wonderful!!!! Thank you for your time and effort. I appologize because I did not get through all of the posts but I am a bit confused. Once installed how can you type without an arabic keyboard? Thank you again for all of you work!

Thank you for the kind words. Unfortunately at the moment you will need to remember which key on the SureType keyboard corresponds to the Arabic key you want to type.

Hello,
This language support pack is to be used only on the Pearl 81xx series devices. However, I had the Curve 8520 personally and can verify that Vodafone (Germany) software includes Arabic. Give it a try: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...CB371894D11FE7
Arabic Language Support for BlackBerry Pearl (8100/8110/8120/8130*)
Features:
- Use Arabic as the BlackBerry OS language
- Receive and transmit SMS/MMS/e-mail in Arabic
- SureType support (predictive input)
- Quick and easy installation with JAD
Instructions:
I am very pleased to give you the possibility of having Arabic on your BlackBerry Pearl, even if the solution isn't 100% perfect. As it is however, it functions really well and much better than I initially hoped for. Please try it out and report any issues you encounter. Thank you!
*regarding 8130 support: few have reported success, for many it didn't work. I am unsure whether this is a limitation of CDMA, the BlackBerry or one of the CDMA carriers. Pearl Flip (8220/8230) or Pearl 9100 are NOT supported!

I know this is an old thread, but will this work for the 9100? What about hebrew for 8120 and 9100?
If you are looking for Arabic support, simple installation, check the link in my signature block.
My Phone is 8830 Sprint.
Now I am using Arabic from drzahwa, all menus now Arabic and I can write Arabic in address book but I Can't write Arabic in SMS.
