Nuked bb 8110

Hi community. I have the following problem. my blackberry 8110 is completely dead when I insert the battery all I get is some blinking red light it goes like this

Red - Red - Pause (about 2 Seconds) Red - Red

I try using the JL_Cmder v1.9 but with no luck.

When I connect the phone to the computer with USB the blinking stops I then went to apploader.exe to try reloading the os and this is what happens

The apploader does recognice the device it shows USB:UNKNOWN

then after hitting the next button I'm prompted with the password dialog box

I enter my password and hit OK. After that I get the components window asking me what to install.

I make the selections and then hit Install. After that i'm taken to the updating your device window. The first process which is erasing application goes through perfectly

The problem comes with the loading system software step. It just sits there and it doesn't do anything the status bar fills just a bit and then it goes back and forth over and over again. Its been 2 hours already and it keeps doing the same thing..

any ideas???

Try this.

Plug the USB into pearl.

Pull the battery out.

Open up Loader and run it.

after the first step (the wipe) is completed reinsert the battery

LMK, I had the same problem and that worked for me.
