I bought a new bb pearl 8110 with AT & T connection.

I am trying to install new themes downloaded form this forum and applications as well by using desktop software .

When i click ADD application option on desktop software and click on browse and if select new themes or applications its not installing.

Is this issue caused, as my phone is locked phone ?

how to solve this problem.

By the way my phone has latest BB OS

yes..when i click on Add application button on desktop software its not even showing all the applications installed on my balck berry

when i open .alx file it says

no additonal applications desgined for your device found...

thanks ...i have installed all the required programs on computer ..now i can see all the applications installed on my blackberry pearl and i am able to modify existing applications.

but i am not able install new themes , when i select .alx file the error message is repeating..

any suggestions ?

In desktop manager go to help > About > device software. Do you see the 8110 software listed?

yes it is...i have installed fromt he CD given by at and t.

Or am i installing wrong themes ? can u please give me themes for pearl 8110 .

I am unable to install even .jad files..how to install these files ?

its working now....i think its theme fault.. iphone theme is working but VISTA theme is not working......so problem with theme i think....

and even easier way of downloading themes would be doing them OTA going to the web site and downloading them strait to the phone
