I have 4.5.097 installed on my Sprint 8130 with no problems what so ever. Just make sure you delete the vendor.xml file if you going to install it on your phone.
The same thing happened to me that jdurante said. Runs slow, memory leaks, but the cursor in my browser is acting squirly. Most times when I scroll down the cursor will drop out of screen, when it does that doesn't matter if I scroll left, right, or down the page still scrolls down. I have to scroll up several times to get my cursor back. I upgraded to .77 yesterday like I said, but I'm now wandering if I should have stayed?
I finished installing it on my Sprint 8130 at 5pm California time and it works great.
It backed everything up first and installed everything except my �Address book� and � Calendar�, and �Tasks�. When I open the Desktop Manager with the device pluged in, I get a message �Failed to conect to device. Please make sure that the device is properly connected and try again�.
The Desktop Manager shows my �pin number�, but when I open �backup� an ERROR: There was a communication error between the device and the Desktop Manager�. (4.7)
Any help would be appreciated; I have about 300 contacts that need to be installed in the device.
OK a couple stupid questions I am sure... I am assuming if I upgrade to this will it allow me to mms with alltel? Right now i guess i have 4.3.0.81..sound right? And another question. Do I have to delete this vendor file with alltel? when i d/l it said alltel. Dosnt that mean it was made for alltel?
OK I upgraded and everything was fine except I cant find my facebook app. It says it is there according to the dm and tools apps etc.. but not on my bbdesktop and it is not hidden. It kept all other apps.. email games maps etc.. any ideas?
