So I removed the battery for a hard reset and when my pearl powered back on it now shows that i have a number of "unread" e-mails. Problem is that I don't, on the mail server, or the phone. What gives? My service LED blinks red as if there are messages as well. Any ideas?

Check your call log. Maybe you have unanswered calls.

You should also check to see if you have any new PIN messages.

Make sure all your folders are showing. Hit the menu key and select "show all." Look through all the folders for unread mail. If you don't see any then from the messages folder hit the menu key and select "view saved messages." Look for any unread mail there.
