So I am getting my first Blackberry ever which is a Pearl this week (friend has an extra and is giving it to me) anyways I am currently on a "dumbphone" LG Env2 and have a decent amount of contacts on my contact list. I have the wireless backup assistant feature they do for all those phones. That way when I switch I just download the app and it puts all my contacts back on the phone when I have had to switch phones.

My question is does Verizon have this app for Blackberries as well? I was thinking the BIS web portal for my blackberry when I get it would have a way to enter the contacts and push them to the phone but thats still a big pain as I still have to get them all from the old phone and write them down still. My biggest worry is I'm going to be sitting for an hour typing each one into the Blackberry.

Most times you can take it into the store and they'll transfer the numbers for you. Some stores charge for this.

Your EnV should have the capability to transfer contacts via Bluetooth.
