Need Help from someone who knows alot about the circuit board.

i have a bb pearl 8110 circuit board that the usb slot is broken so i cannot connect it to the computer via usb. also the screen is broken so i cannot see anything. i want to connect it to the computer to retrieve information from it. So i have cut open a usb cable i know where to place the 2 power wires (red and black) but i do not know where to place the data cables. Could some one help me out where to place the data cables so i can retrieve the information or atleast give me a suggestion on the idea thanks!

If you look at the open end of the USB Mini socket (phone on its back, earphone jack to the left, the wide part of the socket is down) the pins from left to right are:
1 - VCC +5v
2 - D- Data-
3 - D+ Data+
(Not Connected)
4 - GND Ground

If you have a really fine soldering iron and a steady hand you might be able to connect to the solder pads at the back of the socket, but it's VERY tight in there. If there are alternate connection points, I would like to hear about them. My 8110 has a bad VCC connection on the USB and I'm working on a method to repair it. So far I ruined the circuit board for another Blackberry trying to remove the USB socket :-(
