Need help with my pearl

Hey guys, new to the forum here & have a question about my pearl

A while back I got a replacement for my old pearl & it was a newer version, I like pretty much everything about it except for one thing
On my old pearl when I received calls, missed calls, or called out nothing showed up in my SMS inbox, now with this new phone when I get any of those listed above or a Vmail, it shows up in my inbox too
It also deletes my call log if I delete my inbox... very much not what I want it to do & I was very happy with the way my old pearl worked

So is there any way to change this back to the way the old pearl worked, or am I just screwed with newer stuff that I dont like ?

From the call screen click the menu button and look for "Options" next look for "Call Logs" and you should have the option to not have missed calls or voicemails show in the message folder. Change that setting and save.
