My phone wont turn on!!!!!!

Ive had my blackberry pearl 8110 for years now, i stopped using it for a bit and had a different phone but i recently switched back to my blackberry, it had been working fine until a few days ago it randomly turned off with almost a full charge and will not turn back on. my phone hasn't had any water damage and i know the battery's good because when i started using it again i ordered a new one from blackberry. Ive tried taking the battery out and putting it back in again and Ive tried leaving it on the charger over night n not touching it. when i plug it in the LCD light still comes on and for a brief second it acted like it might turn on, the white screen with the hour glass flashed and then went away. help please this phone is like my baby
