MS Office version?

Blackberry desktop (4.3.0.15) for my pearl indicated that I needed a newer version of Office to sinc. I have Office 2000 (didn't want to sinc). Has anyone been using Office 2007 BASIC as all I want is exel word and outlook.

You need at least Outlook 2003 to sync with Desktop Manager 4.3.
You can keep Office 2000 installed, and simply downgrade your Desktop Manager to version 4.2. This would be a much cheaper option.
