How does one move applications from 2nd screen to main screen?

I just got my first Blackberry, a red Pearl !!

Highlight the icon, hit the menu key and select move

click the "options" button (the one to the left of the trackball). Then select move. Roll the trackball to the "up folder"--most likely the first icon on the screen. Then click the trackball and the icon should be on the home screen instead of the 2nd screen.

I move the icon up as far as I can, and there is no "up folder". just other icons. ??

Ok, I just move icons to the very top and then they show up on main screen. Thx!!!

Oh, you must be using a Zen theme then. It will display the first 5 apps on the main screen.
