How do you raise the volume for the media player without using the side volume keys. When I tried using the side keys to raise it doesn't move, I can turn the volume down but can't turn it up. I know its not the speakers beacause when I go to the ringtones folder I can hear the ringtones, but the volume bar is on the bottom.

That's the only way I believe. Try reset by pulling your battery while the device is on. It clears memory. Don't worry, you won't loose any data.

Ok, so when the media is playing, you can turn the volume down, (yellow bar goes down) but you can't seem to make it go back up?
I just tried it and works fine. You do have to have the media control panel showing and not in full screen mode.


On edit... I see you have a 8100, and that could be the difference. I just assumed since you posted in the 8130 forum that was your device. If you don't get an answer here, try over in the 8100 area.

When the media is playing in full screen press the track ball. You should see the controls.

Ok. I see the pause and stop the volume bar.

With that showing try adjusting your volume. Other than that not sure what to tell you.

thanks for trying. I'll just call the store unless somebody else can help. How do you get back to full screen.

After a few seconds it will go back to full screen.
