Media Manager Greyed out
I have a Blackberry 8120 and I have the Blackberry Desktop software updated to v4.6. I downloaded the software off of the Blackberry website and made sure that I downloaded the larger version that contains the media manager application.
Upon installing everything, I can connect to the desktop manager with no issues at all, however when I navigate to the Media portion of the desktop manager, I cannot select the Media Manager at all. It's completely greyed out, as if it's almost not installed (although I specifically downloaded it so I could install it). I also made sure that the media manager was set to be installed during the install wizard.
The Blackberry Media Sync feature does allow me to use it, but I cannot use the Media Manager for whatever reason. Retried this with versions 4.7, 4.5, 4.6 and 4.3 with the same results. Wondering if its possible to get the Desktop manager on disk. - 03-07-2009, 07:38 AM

Desktop manager came on the CD with your blackberry. As far as media manager why not just install your media using mass storage mode. Its the easiest and fastest way to add media to your blackberry.

The disc that came with your Berry though, is the manager software that was available when you got your phone. The issue seems like it might be with the software itself. I have not run into this issue but I use pocketberry with my Mac. Any ideas anybody? Have you tried to contact RIM to see if their tech guys can help you?
