Default Making pictures hidden or private?

On the "desktop" screen I can hide icons by selecting Hide from the menu key.
When I try this for a picture or video it does not work. Is there a way to hide pictures to make them private?

I have a 9 year old that likes to pick up my phone from time to time and use the ESPN app. to check the scores. Once in a while I have a picture on my phone that I do not want him to access. I wouldn't call it POrn as you wrote, but is still something I don't want him to see.
Maybe instead of being such an #$%&!, you could just of answered the question, but I guess you were trying to impress your friend (HAZYSKY). I hope that you may have a question someday and someone could be as rude to you John Clark.

Back on track....
2 things I can think of...
1. Enable the password so your son can't use the phone.
2. Highlight the media folder, click menu, hide. And you tried this.

And to be honest... first thing that when through my mind was...he's got porn.
And far be it from me to throw stones... it's amazing the video quality of this thing!

Anger does as anger is, what's down in the well comes up in the bucket.

Whatever is on your BB that you don't want your child to see, can't be hidden.

So you need to decide why you must keep pictures on your BB that you would be embarrassed for your child to see.

You're not the first person to ask and it's usually to keep something from their wife. So you can under stand why people might think so since you weren't specific in you're first post.

Hiding the media program is probably the best idea.

Menu > Hide hides the Media app, not the picture.

I guess I wasn't that specific. And I am sorry that I even asked. You jumped to the conclusion that I have porn on my phone and then people have to chime in with nothing credible to add except that John was funny for posting a reply that wasn't nice.
Again, I am sorry that I asked this question and will think carefully before I ask anything here again. I know there are people here that do post replies to help people and not just to get a laugh.

Oh, please....lighten up. At least I didn't call you any names.

Search back through my posts and you'll see I'm one of those people. Sheesh! What's wrong with a laugh?
