A little problem...
Today I picked up my replacement Blackberry pearl 8130 from the Sprint store, and I ran into a little problem. I noticed that some apps and services were missing. Things like MMS, Browser, and even my Email are missing. It's as if my phone was still on version 4.2.1, but it's on 4.5 (surprisingly). With this in mind, it won't let me update the software to get those services, and I can't seem to install them from the Desktop Manager.

Have you tried registering through HRT? Go to Options>>Advanced Options>>Host Routing Table, press Menu and select Register Now.
