I fully understand what a level 1 message is, so no explanation there is needed and I am sure this has been asked before, but I cannot find it anywhere.

I have read that you can setup filters for email addresses to come across with level 1 and Pin messages can as well.

Is there a way to make SMS level 1 for a individual person?

And if that is not possible

Is it possible to setup a category/group in the contacts and set that as to show up as a level 1 for SMS?

Just in case, I have a 8120 running OS 4.3.0.115.

It doesn't seem to be possible to forward SMS as Level 1. I created a filter for texts from myself and selected Foward as Level 1. I sent myself a text, and it arrived in the usual way, without Level 1 emphasis. You can use the same technique to experiment on your own.

The filters you use to forward as level 1 as based on email addresses. You can create as many filters as you want. I haven't experimented with partial addresses, to see, for example, if all messages from @employer.com could be forwarded.
