This is the package that some of us got early via email link from BB. I've been running it for a few weeks without any OS issues.

I did have to re-install BB maps after the upgrade as the maps were void of streets or any other detail. Also BBM 5 didn't work very well so I'll be interested in hearing if others have success with this OS and the new BBM.

BBM5 Doesn't work? That's no good! Are there still terrible lag issues and such?

When you're in a call, did the call duration timer show up? In 4.5.0.138 it mysteriously disappeared. I'm hoping .160 resolved this issue. Can anyone confirm?

I don't know why, but it won't let me update... in DM I clicked on Application Loader > Update Software, and 4.5.0.160 shows up in the list of Available updates. I select the check box next to it, and then click on Next. It then tells me in the Update summary "No software update is available for your device."
Wow.. what does this mean? I deleted Vendor.xml.

Edit: nvm, using Loader.exe allows me to upgrade.

I've been running it for a couple weeks or so. The call timer does show up on my pearl, BBM 5 works great, too.

I've had no issues so far.

Is there any overall lag throughout the system when trying to navigate through all the menus, or when you go out of some sort of standby mode?

It has the typical lag when coming off standby. Though, if I hit the escape key, rather than the trackball, it wakes right up.

As far as navigating through the menus, I've noticed no lag whatsoever.

I just finished updating this but I did not do a backup of my 3rd party apps (no big deal I thought). But now I do not have a browser installed. How do I get it back?

If you're talking about the native browser, run application loader again, and make sure it's checked, though by default it is. Do you have a BlackBerry data plan?
