Lag in Pearl
I've had my pearl for about a lil over a year and a half. The past week or so its been lagging real bad, and the hour glass will come up and take a min or so to change programs or even scroll. Ive done a hard reset and erased all my messages but no dice. Any suggestions on what might be going on? Is it buying the farm finally???

Could be a couple things.
Possibilities.
1, Possible Memory Leak.
2, Just ran out of memory finally from messages and internet usage
Possible Solutions.
1, Update to Current OS 4.5.131
2, Clear Event Log by Pressing "Alt LGLG"
Do Memory Cleaning. Options > Security Options > Memory Cleaning > Menu button > Clean Now
Clear Cache. Open Browser > Options > Cache Operations > Clear History.
3, Do a Battery Pull While the Phone is On - 03-04-2009, 12:12 PM #3
LOL kuma beat me to it again. Yea do exactly as he posted above and hopefully it should correct your problem. I would recommend clearing all your logs and caches first then do a battery pull while the device is on. If none of it helps then you need to check how much free file memory you have open. If its low then you might need to delete some apps that are taking up space on your device.

yeah if you only have 3m you will lag all day long
clear all the logs and do a battery pull and you will be fine
Bit of advise i would recommend clearing all the logs once a week to keep it running as smooth as possible - 03-04-2009, 04:15 PM
