It seems I am losing my internet connection a lot when I am using the 8130. I was just in the facebook application and was told the request could not be made since there's no active network connection in range.
This seems to happen a lot. The 1XEV icon is completely gone and doesn't come back unless I turn off the phone and turn it back on again.
Why am I losing the network connection, but more importantly, why do I have to turn off the phone to get it back? I understand getting out of range of the signal, but I would expect it to be smart enough to reestablish
You don't have to reboot your phone. When my pearl is having connection issues, I just disable connectivity in the manage connections option and reconnect. Takes 15 seconds at the most.
