    Default I've just got a Pearl 8110 PLS HELP!

    Hi all,

    I've just purchased a Pearl 8110 on T-Mobile UK, I've got all the data plans required etc.

    My questions are;

    How do I check if I'm running the latest operating system and upgrade it if necessary? I obviously have already tried and what stopped me was when I get onto the 'Blackberry support' area of the uk t-mobile site it asks me for a email address and password... What email address and password? I figured that was for previously registered users so I then attempted to register myself, it asks me to input my telephone no and it is supposed to send me a temporary password to access the restricted support area but when I put my telephone no in it says its not recognised!

    I've had my contract for 6 months already and was unhappy with my original handset hence why I purchased the berry, so any help with these few issues setting it up would be GREATLY appreciated!

    Options/about will tell you what os you are running. The newest one for your berry should be stickied at the top of this section.

    I'm in the US on tmobile. When I got my BB, I went into the tmobile site changed my phone and then there was an area to get into BB support and I was able to register there without a problem. Call Tmo they should be able to walk you thru it. For TMo us the email address is whateveryouset up@tmo.blackberry.net
