I'm a little upset. Help me.
- Once again, ALL signs point to your PIN still being assigned to the old owner, if the phone was bad, you wouldn't be calling and texting.
Call Alltel and have them transfer you to a BB specialist. You NEED the pin released from the old owner and provisioned to your account.

I say it's the "Cheapest" because you run a lower risk of having to deal with BS like what you're going through now. Sometimes, you do get what you pay for...
Bought mine brand new from the store for 150 dollars with my sprint customer rebate and 4 months later got my 100 dollar mail in rebate check...bringing the cost of the phone down to 50 dollars total.
I haven't had a problem with my berry since the day I got it that wasn't caused by apps I loaded on it. As far as the hardware is concerned, it has not so much as hiccuped.
Good luck,

If you don't see it, hit the blackbery button (the one with the 7 dots) and click on "Show All".
That should reveal the icon so that you can click on it and get the registration process started.
Dm08-19-08 10:26 AMLike 0 - He said in the setup wizard he gets an option for BES or to skip email. I don't think the phone is provisioned correctly.08-19-08 10:35 AMLike 0

I'm not stupid.08-19-08 10:53 AMLike 0 - um ok, I didn't say you were, however most csr's are not very good with blackberries, if in fact he was honest with you and your pin is clear, have the next one resend your service books and verify you are provisioned for a bis, not a bes account.

08-19-08 10:58 AMLike 0 - am with Alltel and have pearl. For some reason, the last two days my connection has been turning itself off. Ut says it is on, but I don't get email or internet until I turn it off and back on. Then works fine until the next morning. I have to go into my connections and options then manage connections to turn off then repeat to turn on. Haven't had time to dig any further yet. But it works for now. See if you can do this.

Most SP can call them and patch you through to them. They will be able to tell you everything about your BB. I don't know if I would accept that pre-production model bullsh!t.08-19-08 11:39 AMLike 0

I'll have to go school shopping soon, so I'll probably hit one of the stores up our next trip. This is such a PITA.08-19-08 01:14 PMLike 0
