Ok. With the purchase of my zune car AC adaptor came a rubber pad that makes ur 2in. by 2in. non-slip. I have a Scion xb and there is a shelf on my dash where I hold my cell phone while driving.

    QUESTION:
If my phone is on my dash it is in direct sunlight. Should I have the screen exposed or the camera?

I know u shouldn't expose either but which one is safer?

Personally I am thinking the camera, but what do I know!?!

I'd say face down also. And a skin would help too.

the reason this is so bad is because heat is so bad for electronics...

so it doesnt really matter which side is up... if it sits too long in the sun its just not good.

that said: if you just put it there for a little and then take it when you get out its not such a big deal..

    -db

but i keep mine in the shade whenever possible

If it's that hot, you may experience trouble with the screen cover being plastic. The camera lens is glass.

not a fan of skins... or cases.

    i think that Zune/iPlop material.

phones are to be cherished without a case or holster IMO!

    thanks CB pals!!!!!!!

I know what you mean by it should be cherished without a case or holster. My curve feels so damn sexy and perfectly naked in my hands but I need to put a skin on it just in case.
