i want to thank all of you for your help yesterday ....after playing around with the pearl and the 8830 at the verizon store yesterday i did decide to get the pink pearl...its smaller..and since i use it as a phone more ( only email on weekends and text about 3 times a day) the salesman said the phone on the pearl is better than on the 8830....

Yay and congrats on getting a pearl!! They are right, once you go crack... I myself thought I wanted a pearl and I ended up getting an 8830, which I love just as much! This place is great for bb newbies, it's much better to search a forum than your manuel!
