The free space is down to 8 mb. How can I optimize it? I've done all the basics like removing the sample video, etc. I've done that sort of a clean up. But it's been a while. How else can I optimize it?

Also, should I ugprade to the latest .295 OS?

I have 4.5 but it's an older version.

Lol, 8mb on a pearl is good, on mine I had aroung 0.5-1mb.

What you can do more is battery pull everyday, clear the log to fast it up(dont allow more memory but the phone is a little faster). To see the log press Alt+L+G+L+G.
